Bringing Historical Enrichment Programs
                Into the Classroom

History on Wheels was founded by an educator with long-standing experience. It is dedicated to helping teachers stimulate and excite students by bringing unique presentations of historical enrichment programs into the classroom. History on Wheels not only helps students develop a better understanding of the past but also adds a dimension of pure joy to learning history.

The programs offered by History on Wheels use solid, proven educational methods where students become active, engaged learners required to develop and use critical thinking skills. The combined activities of these programs support Common Core Modules and address New York State Standards for the fourth grade curriculum. They are also interdisciplinary presentations that integrate math, science, language arts, social studies, and the arts. The various learning styles: auditory, visual, and kinetic, tactile, are all addressed in these highly motivating programs.

Choose from six programs:

  • New Netherlands' Children   Canals to the Hudson
